I am passionate about High Resolves because…

The organisation has very clear values and a vision of what we want to achieve and how to achieve it. I love that High Resolves is about action and that we are giving others the tools to intentionally use their powers for good and make a difference in their lives.

Our history

Following the successful expansion of High Resolves into Victoria, we established a hub in Brisbane in 2011.

We work with a range of schools from across the different sectors and tailor our program to meet the specific needs of each.

The Queensland hub is dedicated and passionate about providing Queensland students with the knowledge and skills to be effective and purposeful global citizens and leaders. Since our inception, over 35,000 young people in Queensland have participated in the High Resolves program.

Case Study: Centenary State High School

Centenary State High School has been a part of the High Resolves family since 2013 and we are very lucky to work with full cohorts in Years 7 – 10. Over the years Centenary has incorporated all aspects of the High Resolves program and are truly committed to creating students who are effective and purposeful global citizens and leaders.

High Resolves delivers immersive face-to-face workshops for students and on- and off-site professional development for their teachers. We also supply Centenary with additional classroom resources and support teachers to run project-based, student-led Social Action Projects. Centenary’s Year 10 media students participate in our annual Videos for Change challenge which allows them a real life application of the skills they have learnt throughout the program.
